All Kinds of Sweet Goodness

Isabelle has been smiling for about 6 weeks now, she mainly has been smiling in her sleep. Recently though she has actually started smiling in response to someone talking to her or touching her. She smiles the most when you give her kisses or make kissing sounds at her. It just absolutely melts my heart. She has now also started to laugh some at being played with; it’s such a wonderful sound. Isabelle has also started to make noises (jabbering, squealing, etc.) like she is talking or fussing at you, it’s such a wonderful thing considering that the neurologist told me that it appeared that the communication part of Isabelle’s brain is what was missing. God just keeps proving that he’s not finished with Isabelle and that the doctors don’t know everything.

I don’t know if we are getting close to cutting a tooth or what but she had discovered her hands and has started to put them in her mouth and suck and chew on her fingers. Today, she acts like she is trying to figure out how to blow bubbles or she could be just trying to get rid of some of the excessive saliva that she’s got, who knows.

Quincey is absolutely in love with Isabelle most of the time. She just needs to learn how to be a little calmer around her. Quincey gets so excited to see Isabelle and be around her that she wants to try and play with her like we do and she doesn’t understand why she has to be easy. Then again she doesn’t like to be easy when she’s playing anyway, she’s definitely a rough and tumble girl.
